Work, see Myke, sleep

Posted on November 3rd, 2007 at 8:49pm

My routine these days is so interesting and varied!

Wake up, dry clothes, go to work. Work. See Myke for a few hours. Go home, put clothes in the wash. Sleep.
Rinse and repeat.

My day off is slightly different:
Wake up, see Myke, go home, wash work clothes, sleep.

For the last two weeks, I've done 30+ hours a week. It's nice money but I feel like crap at the end of it.

Things with me and Myke are going well - we'll have been together officially for six weeks tomorrow. :) (Plus about a month of unofficially seeing each other!)
We'll be going on holiday together for eight days on the 11th. I can't wait!

Site stuff:

I know the database scripts are broken. At first, I thought it was a problem only some servers have but my scripts have stopped working on my site too. I don't know why they've stopped working, therefore, I can't currently fix the problem. I'm a little busy with work (hahahaha - a little!! I feel like death! I look like death!).
Anyway - for now, I'm taking them offline. ALL of them. Do not hand out your version of my scripts.
I'll fix them when I have time and when I'm awake enough to not completely destroy the script. They will come back once they are fixed. :) Patience is a virtue.

I can't stand rude customers...congrats on you and Myke!!!
I'm glad I downloaded and installed the scripts when I did! They work for me...

Ah! I hate customers like that! Especially (at my shop) when they ask if we'll have what there looking for on our next delivery, thing is though we don't get told what we're getting until the day of our delivery lol! Needless to say they're not happy with that answer!

Congrats on you and Myke! :D :D
Your scripts are still working for me by the way =/

And the worst thing is, "The customer is always right." *rolls eyes* I work at Gloria Jeans and I hate snobby customers. If they've had a bad day, I don't really care. Why take it out on me?! And I also hate the, "Can I have change for a fifty?" when they're not even going to buy a drink!! What is this?!

I love your site by the way. It's really nice :]

Customers like that is what makes me nervous about working. I just don't think I could muster up the patience for them. x_x

Good luck balancing your busy life! Sounds like my life from 2 months ago and before! I'm not excited about going back to working full-time & going to school & balancing the boyfriend...it's too much! I have to, though. :(

I never knew anything or had to deal with rude customers until I started working at an ice cream place. Lol, I was told to remind customers if they wanted any kind of toppings on their ice cream, it'll be extra..so they don't complain later on how pricey it is. Anyway, so the customer goes "JUST GIVE IT TO HIM!" (his child) .. I'm like..okay, then. ..fucker. -.-

And then some other lady once complained into the phone "I'm never coming to this Baskin Robbins again!" when I was standing right in front of her. grr. If I wasn't new there, I'll probably have started bitching.. but that's just me. LOL

And yeah, you're right. The rude customers are the one that stands out the most, though I do remember some of the nicer ones too. =) Anyway, have fun at work. =D I don't mind working long hours either, but yeah, I feel crappy in the end and just head straight to bed. =\

Oh, and are add on domains . domains that have been bought..? lol, Tiara got me a new one and I added it to KPenguin's cpanel, but no idea where to go from there.

Happy Turkey Day also!
