Mika

I really, really, really hate Mika's music...his voice just sounds really screechy to me and his songs always get stuck in my head.

I rarely listen to the radio but a few weeks ago, my mum had it on and a song came on. I thought it was a cute, if slightly cheesy, song. The chorus was kinda catchy too...

I thought it might be from the new High School Musical film. It just sounds like something they'd sing (I haven't seen the film but have heard EVERY SINGLE SONG from the first film, thanks to my brother and sister)...but why does the man's voice sound screechy?

I searched for the song, using the part of the lyrics I could remember the best ("No hope, no love, no glory. No happy ending.").

It's by Mika? Seriously?

Ohh, I love Happy Ending.
I like Mika, I just think that a lot of his songs are stupidly overplayed.
Grace Kelly was a nice, original, bouncy song. And then they played it to death, and everyone attempts to sing it all the time. Which is not pretty.
Anyhow, I love your site. nice job. x

Haven't heard it myself, but can Mika actually do a good song? Surely not.
